SPINNING DEFECTS

 1. BULLETS
Zero twisted or low twisted Double Yarn. 

2. BOTTOMS
Yarn left over on the surface of the cop or cheese after winding. 

3. CORK SCREW
One yarn is straight and other one is twisted on it. 

4.COUNT VARIATION
There is difference in count compared to required count.  3/4

5.FOLD YARN
Yarn containing 3 or 4 fold yarn. 
6. GRIANDRILLE BAR
Use of wrong component in double yarn. 

7.NEPS
Pinhead structure like fibre mass. 

8.SLUBS
Abnormal thick places over a short length. 

9. SPUN IN LINT
Accumulated fly twisted with the yarn. 

10. THICK END
Diameter is more than the normal yarn. 

11.THICK PICK
Diameter is more than the normal yarn. 

12. TWIST VARIATION
Less Twist or more than normal twist. 

13.YARN MIXING
Mix up of different colour, count; twist direction, blend and shade.
 
14. KNOTS
Joint of broken thread.

15.  OILY YARN
Oil stained yarn. 

16. BAD SPLICING
Improper knot less joint.
